Some pretty centerpiece ideas!

For those brides looking to also incorporate the Tiffany blue into centerpieces, here are a few DIY centerpieces I found. If any of these belong to you, let me know so that I can give credit where credit is due (I found most of these in Google Images):

Just because your wedding is of a Tiffany blue them does not mean that you HAVE to use it in your centerpieces, we chose to simply use all white roses in our centerpieces in plain crystal bowls and they looked just elegant.
Do whatever your vision tells you,
Adela!

Bridesmaid Dresses a la Tiffany Blue

If you do choose to have some blue in your wedding dress, you want to make sure that it coordinates with the blue you will have your bridesmaid dresses in. So, if you use Pool then you should get your dresses from David's too, since the Pool is an exact match.

Here are some dresses in Pool from David's: Style number is order 8355, 8567, 8585, 81123

Here are a few of my faves from Mori Lee (who I love and I think is the closet to the actual Tiffany Blue): Styles in Order 201, 206, 328, 734, 761, 940

Both the David's Bridal Line and Mori Lee lines carry beautiful dresses and great prices!

When you go with your Bridesmaids for their fittings, be sure to remember to bring your camera with you. This way to can take snap shots of the dresses on the girls and you can see how the color works with their tone in different types of fabrics.

Have fun dressing your bridesmaids!

Wedding dresses a la Tiffany Blue

When I was looking at wedding dresses, I loved the look of just a splash of color on an all white dress! My mother and fiance, however, were not so much a fan of that.

So, I stuck with the all white...

but here are some great finds of dresses with just a hint of beautiful blue. Enjoy!

These gowns were all found at http://www.davidsbridal.com/ and color is "Pool" they are priced between $300 - $700

Have fun trying them on...!

Great websites for Great inspiration!

Here is a list of great website that I love and found EXTREMELY helpful, I will add more as I think of them and find them! If you check out the wedding words blog there is another list of websites!

www.FavorIdeas.com I love this website, it has all types of ideas, but a special section for the aqua wedding including where to find favors. She has even started a blog and there are a bunch of other fun links to follow if you have the time. The chats on this website are great, but it is easy to get overwhelmed by, take your time!

www.SophiesFavors.com Has great aqua favors and lots of unique ideas.

www.OrientalTrading.com I recommend checking this site first, they have the best prices for wedding odds and ends.

www.save-on-crafts.com I am a total DIY bride and this website is full of DIY ideas and tools.

http://www.squidoo.com/tiffanyblueweddings This a great blog that I found on squidoo with tons of pictures and links.

www.brides.com and www.theknot.com Of course!!!

www.weddingbee.com A great blog that you can search with key words like tiffany blue and aqua.

www.Target.com You'll be surprised what they are carrying these days!

www.ebay.com Another great place to start first, but be sure you are getting a fair deal on shipping and don't be too hasty!

What's in a name?

Alright brides, before you start your scramble to find the perfect Tiffany blue linens for your spectacular events - here is a word to the wise: be flexible! First off, please note that the official Tiffany and Co. blue is copyrighted and in your search you may hit a few speed bumps along the way unless you open up your search to include the following colors: robin's egg blue, pool or aqua. The key to perfecting your theme is making sure that all of the blues match! I decided to go with Tiffany blue and white, because I think that white is a great way to keep the look classic and clean. This way we were able to use white table cloths, but rent blue overlays for the reception. Tiffany blue was the star, but the white helped tie it all together like the perfect Tiffany Blue box! We also opted for a few platinum(silver) accents which we used for the ribbon color of the bridal party's flowers, bridesmaid shoes and favors. I've said it before and I will say it again "Google is a bride's bestfriend"! I simply typed in tiffany blue wedding and aqua wedding and was blown away by the amount of information that came up. It was amazing, try it! After a little while, however, it got to be a bit overwhelming. So, I started to organize the ideas I really liked in files on my desktop. Fortunately for you, I will be sharing that organized information with you to help you weed out the good from the not so good/just plain impractical. I think we will start with the bigger items first, wedding gown, bridal party, ceremony, reception and gifts. Of course there will be several sub-categories within each one for great favor ideas, centerpieces and yummy cakes etc!!!

Let me know if you don't see something on here that you are looking for. Chances are I may have an idea or two, but haven't posted it yet.

Happy planning!

Introduction to being a Tiffany Blue Bride...

When my husband and I were newly engaged, we knew we wanted some form of blue as our wedding color...but there are so many shades of blue! I began listing all the things that I loved that were a seperate type of blue. The moment I jotted down Tiffany and Co. that was it, I was sold. What a perfect, timeless and classic theme to work within. I was already planning on giving my bridesmaids a special gift from Tiffany's it was only natural that the entire wedding fall within the Tiffany blue spectrum. I am using this blog to organize all the ideas and tips that I discovered along the wedding planning way. This blog is devoted only to Tiffany blue weddings. For other wedding tips and advice you can check out my blog Adela's Wedding Words - there I compiled all my other wedding ideas and tips on how to save money, helpful websites and just plain words of wisdom from a girl who's walked down the aisle in those fabulous heels! I love all things wedding and all things Tiffany blue. Please feel free to leave me comments with your thoughts and ideas.

Love and Happy Planning from one Tiffany Bride to another!
